No plastic is used to package goods from Ellishadder Art Cafe. Acid free tissue paper protects fragile items and recycled paper carrier bags are used.

Local suppliers are used to supply gift products: Ness Soaps, Isle of Skye Candle Company and the Uig Pottery.

'Ness Soaps’, supplying the hand wash, body lotion etc. are based in Inverness It is a social enterprise company, who provide training and jobs for people who otherwise would probably never get one. These include people who either have a learning or physical disability or who are long term unemployed. ‘Ness Soaps’ use only natural essential oils to fragrance their soaps and none of their products are tested on animals nor do they use any ingredients that are tested on animals.

‘The Isle of Skye Candle Company’, based in Broadford, use natural soy wax in the production of their hand poured candles and scent them using 100% pure essential oils. Soy wax has many advantages over paraffin based wax as it is made from a renewable source and is not made from petroleum. Burning soy candles does not increase the CO2 level in the atmosphere.

The 'Uig Pottery', situated only a few miles away, supplies our wonderful pottery.
